Cool Comfortable Shoe - This shoe is great. It looks cool and feels great on the feet. I have a wide foot and normally stick to Birks a salesman at a store I was at had me try it on, and I at first thought they looked funny. But I couldn’t get them out of my mind, later in the shopping day I saw them at another store and I purchased the pair. Since then I ordered a couple more. These are great feels so comfortable. I have to say I am getting everyone I know to buy these shoes. Zappos is the best with the best selection!
Love at First Sight! Although I originally fell in love with these sandals because of their unique, funky look, I now love them because of their fit, comfort and versatility. You can wear them for light hiking, water sports, or just walking around town in total comfort. I just ordered my husband a pair because I’m so happy with mine. Definitely order 1/2 size larger than your usual shoe size because they run a bit small. Worth every penny!
I am heading off for a trip overseas and wanted a pair of shoes that would climb mountains, walk in water and go to the theater and I didn’t want to have to pack 4 or 5 pairs of shoes. I read the reviews of these shoes and decided to try them. Wow!!! They are fantastic. I haven’s had them off of my feet since I got them 3 weeks ago except to sleep. They are extremely comfortable from the get go. I am not sure what I wore before they arrived. I have since talked my family members into each trying tham and they also love them.
Gym shoe/Sandle Hybrid - I love this shoe. It has the support of a gym shoe, including good lateral stability, with the cooling benefits of a summer sandle. Its function is like that of a “sneekersandle” as one of my teacher collegues said. Oh, yes, I am on my feet all day for my job and then still had energy in my feet for a fitness walk. MIchael Kors Sun Shoes. Looks take a little getting use to, but the comfort far surpasses any hesitation in the different look.
Perfect Fit - My husband and I were looking for some comfortable sandals for our trip to Australia–especially for me since I had injured my heel and had since then gotten rid of any “unsensible” shoes. We both purchased the Newport H2–although we took other shoes with us, we wore the Keens 100% of the time. Extremely comfortable and eye-catching, we had dive masters asking us where we got the cool Michael KORS Sun sandals. I just ordered my second pair of Keens and will definitely add more to my shoe wardrobe.
Best rugged sandals there is! No break-in required, these sandals are the best. I bought them for my husband as well, and we both got compliments for them. They’re extremely comfortable, even after long walks. They look too nice to get them wet, but even if I will (give them a splash, that is), I know they will still be comfortable. Why? Because I’ve got the Keen Newport as well, which I’ve subjected to wet and extreme conditions and the H2s feel and fit so much better for me. Also, these fit my true size, no need to buy 1 size larger…I did try a larger size, and they looked big on my feet, so I returned them. I’ve told everyone about my Keen shoes and the best place to get them (Zappos of course!) No need for any other outdoor sandals…Keen is it!
Incredibly comfy sandal! I’m quite fussy about the feel of my sandals, and don’t usually like most sandals, because the hard plastic clips irritate my feet & ankles. And then I discovered Keen! The heel, in particular, was amazingly comfortable–it was as if there was nothing there! I really like the rubber toe guard, too, and don’t feel the need to be cautious anymore when walking, as I do in my Birkenstock sandals. My only wish is that it was slightly wider, or came in a D width, as I have very wide feet. I think, though, that for the average wearer, these sandals will be wide enough, and are perhaps slightly wider than the usual B width. One final note: I selected regular (4-5 days) shipping, and my shoes arrived THE NEXT DAY!!!
I am an active person who likes a durable, comfortable, and stylin’ shoe. I can tromp outdoors with the kids in rain, mud, through water fights, and hiking through the woods. They are as comfortable as my Born sandals. In addition to the comfort and durability, I like that they are the most versatile shoe I own. I wear them everywhere, literally. If you purchase Keen, expect to get stopped for compliments. I was debating if I needed to go up or down a 1/2 size. I crossed my fingers and ordered a 7 1/2 and they fit perfectly. I may just order another in a different color. You won’t be sorry with your purchase of Keen.
Yes it is worth the money - I LOVE this shoe, it is funtional as a water shoe, a camping shoe, and stylish enough as a city shoe. A sandal I can ride my bike in and not squash my toes or worry that it will get scuffed. Also–it fits my very very wide feet great! which is rare. I have a hard time finding sandals because of my wide small feet but these fit like they were made for me.
funky, in a good way - These are great shoes if you need the toe/foot protection and still want the freedom of sandals. They are definitely on the funky side of fashion, and make your feet look a little fat and a little pigeon-toed. The 2 downsides to these shoes are 1) that debris (dirt, rocks, etc) comes in at the heel and gets trapped inside the footbed, and 2) the closed-toe design that is so good at protecting your tootsies in the field is great at collecting filth from the trail and keeping it under the soles of your feet, quickly leading to much stinkiness. They’re not easy to clean, either. But, stinky though they may be, I like them for their toe protection, the easy on, easy off, the great fit, and their urban, funky appeal. Good for walking - Very comfortable, good footbed shape and the strap liners are as comfortable as socks. My feet are a bit narrow but they don’t slip in the shoe because of the footbed shape and the slight stretch in the straps. Good for wearing around water too. The European size felt true as marked, but the American size felt a half size smaller. If you know your European size order with that.
