   These shoes give your legs a real workout! I received them and put them on and walked around the house and found them to be very comfortable. I am a walker and found that these shoes increase my heart rate faster than regular walking/running shoes. They take a bit of time to get used to, as the feel is different from a normal shoe; however, once you get the hang of them, they feel great.

   5 star shoes - It took a few weeks to break in (blisters on the backs of my feet), but once I found the right combination of socks and used them for about 3 weeks, they are wonderful! Need instructions for best results. Everyone has a different opinion. Great reviews convinced me that these must be great walking shoes but what I found was a sneaker that was too short in length, too narrow, and too much money for what it delivered. Sent it back. Fit was way too big and sloppy feeling, I love the service and convenience of Zappos but with this shoe for this price I need to go to a store and be fitted. I’m on my feet for up to 10 hours at a time as a nurse and can always count on New Balance for comfort and support.

   Best Comfortable Unfashionable Shoe - I’m a nurse who has suffered from years of back pain. Over the years I’ve tried a lot of athletic and nursing shoes but they did not aid in relieving my pain. So when I had heard about the MBTs, I was very leary at first because a lot of companies don’t live up to their claims. Also, these shoes are expensive and ugly (not a good combination). Anyway, due to my chronic back pain and the amount of hours I stand on my feet at work, I decided to try these shoes after two weeks of researching them. I immediately noticed my posture improve 100%. In these shoes, I automatically do not slouch when walking or standing. My back does not hurt when wearing these shoes. After wearing these shoes, my legs feel like they have had a little workout. Love the way they feel BUT I ordered my true size and as I walked my heel was slipping out of the sneaker and I developed a blister. Now I am trying them with two pairs of socks. Michael Kors Meteor boots for women’s. I’ll let you know how that works. I had an ankle fusion and regular sneakers and shoes made my leg and lower back hurt terrible because I cannot bend that ankle anymore. Now these MBT sneakers are wonderful!! They have that rocking affect and my lower back and legs do not hurt! I am walking much better and love them!!

   Difficult adjustment - These shoes are extremely difficult to adjust to. I work 15 hour days and am on my feet the entire time. After 6 hours on my feet in these things my feet burn like wildfire and I can barely walk. I have emailed MBT twice, they say this is normal and I am wearing them too long…I purchased them to eliminate back, knee, and foot pain and am diligently trying to “break them in” but geez, how long does it take to break them in? It’s been about a month now and I am still trying to use them. Michael Kors Meteor boots, Stairs are a challenge because the bottoms rock and you have to hit the stairs just right or your balance gets thrown off. The video/book says there are people locally that can teach you how to walk in these things…but locally means locally in England. Not in the states. I am 49 years old, and in good mental health…but these things are a real challenge. To be honest, I am discouraged and the $250 was a huge investment for me…I keep hoping the next day will be better, but so far, no luck.

   Crocs Beach Review - Shoe is wonderful for around the house and pool/patio use, which is what I purchased it for. We live in the desert and it tends to pick up sand and grit when worn outside but for its intended use it is perfect. I am not sure how good the support would be for street use. The fit is a little loose and lacking in the stabilization I am used to in a walking or cross-training show. As much as I am enjoying this shoe, I enjoyed the Zappos shopping experience even more. The price WAS the lowest I could find for these shoes and shipping combined. And the “free” shipping was upgraded by Zappos so my shoes arrived two days sooner than expected. I’ll definitely continue to shop here.

   Crocs Beach Shoes - These shoes look funky, but are very comfortable and have been a fun conversation piece since I got them. I have very small feet (a 5 1/2) and was a little worried about ordering the XS for 4-5, but they fit! Here’s some additional info on the mission I was on that lead me to buy these shoes, I wanted to find something comfortable, light weight, could wear doing yard work and offered arch support. Well, I found my shoes! One last bit of info is, I get tendinitis in my arches if I don’t have enough arch support. Now I would had liked a bit more support than these shoes offer, but so far so good. No flair ups! This is a winner, highly recommend! Crocs Rule! Very light. Very cool. Very comfortable. These shoes (C)”roc” for a medical resident or anyone always on their feet. These shoes actually look smaller than they are (I got the XL 12-13 size). When placed next to my other size 13 shoes, the crocs look about an inch shorter but fit perfectly! I love ‘em. Oh, you can also take off the strap if you want and wear them as clogs… strap is too girly for me!
